Sponsor a Child in Argentina

Connie originally started with GO in Cordoba, Argentina together with a group of volunteers and COINED. She run the program locally and when she moved to the US she didn't want to stop supporting the scholars. Once in Philadelphia, she founded GO - Give an Opportunity! From the US she is now determined to send enough funds to support the current scholars and recruit more scholars every year.

Vice President

Taramin met GO in Philadelphia during 2005. She was determined to get involved and did so right away. She visited Cordoba a year after she got involved and since then has been active within the organization. She is in charge of US operations.

John was the second sponsor to our scholars. He sponsored Jennifer who was one of the brightest scholars; very outgoing and with a lot of energy. He is now involved in promoting GO and advises us on strategies.

Manny is Argentinean and has lived in the US since 1980. He is now more American than Argentinean but he has never forgotten his roots. He goes to Argentina every so often to visit family and each time he goes he realizes how mucho need there is!

Vice President of Fundraising Events

Paula is Argentinean and is involved within the academic world in Philadelphia. She is very outgoing and always open on getting people together to do different cultural and fun activities. She is very involved in the community and helps us promote our fundraising events.

Rob is from Holland and traveled to Cordoba to volunteer for GO. While in Cordoba he got very involved with our scholars and practiced his Spanish.
