News about the "Give An Opportunity" Program
Give an Opportunity Program starts its educational activities in March
In Argentina, summer school holidays start in December and finishes at the end of February. This means that the activities of the scholarship program "Give an Opportunity" are going to start in March too.
The activities will start with a first meeting, where the coordinator of the program will give all the tools and school supplies the students need, such as books, uniforms, pencils, etc. The scholarship also includes different educational activities like English and computer classes, academic support, an art crafts workshop, and more.
During the year, we will keep you informed about these activities.

This year, Marcia Vega - a scholar of Give an Opportunity - begins her university study
Marciastartedthescholarship of Give an Opportunity program in 2007, when she was 14 years old. She used to be ashy and silent girlbut was one of the best student of her class.
You should know, with 17 years old, Marcia became a beautiful adolescent, self-confidence and very smart. In December, Marcia finished High School with an excellent performance and at this moment she is studying to pass the entrance test to enter the public university in Córdoba. She wants to become an engineer.
She is very happy because she fulfilled a dream: being a university student.
8 students are going to finish High School in 2011 thanks to the GO scholarship
GO - Give an Opportunity executes the Oportunidad Educativa Program in Córdoba, Argentina. This program provides scholarship to 18 students with low economical resources. Eight of them are going to finish High School by the end of this year. This is very important for them because most of them will become the first member of their family who graduates from school.
They could achieve this thanks to YOU, because the 100 % of your gift supports this program. THANKS FOR BEING PART OF THIS!
