Activities in Cordoba
Activities done, half of the year already gone! Activities the local scholars have accomplished together with our volunteers:
1) A art volunteer came to our Saturday activity during two consecutive Saturdays to show our scholars how to get creative and express through art. The end result is hand crafted Christmas card for all our local sponsors and volunteers in Cordoba.

2) We announced the "Lutte" Fundraising event last month. It brought 200 people together all sharing for a good cause. The event made it to the main newspaper of Cordoba, La Voz del Interior.

Activities in the US
End of Year Celebration Campaign
At the end of the year, every year, we put together an end of year ceremony for our scholars and their families. It is a time where we congratulate scholars for their specific accomplishments, scholars present things they have learned and we share with families a good moment.

This is an important activity for families to stay motivated about being part of the GO program, to continue supporting their child in their journey of education and also share with other families their experience. Support us in a campaign to make this celebration happen!

Fundraisers at Restaurants
We have started contacting Argentinean restaurants within the US who would be willing to get more involved! How they can get involved:
a) Have a "Give an Opportunity" day/week or week/month
b) Sponsor a scholar and get employees involved

Advisory Board
GO Give an Opportunity is in search of an advisory board. To nominate candidates for the board, please send us your recommendations to info @ giveanopportunity.org . If you would like to be part of our advisory team, please also let us know.

Students without a Sponsor: See how they need you!
We still dont have enough sponsors to be able to support our program. We have had to cut down on the material benefits we give our scholars because we dont have enough funds. If you know someone that would like to make a difference and get involved, please let me know at cmarianacci@giveanopportunity.org
