GO is a Scholarship Program

GO runs a scholarship program for children living within poverty levels in Argentina. Through a thorough selection process, each scholar is awarded the scholarship that they should maintain during the year.

In the US, our organization looks for sponsors and donations to send to Argentina. In Argentina, the program is run for the scholars.

To select the scholars, the following are taken into consideration:
1) Family income
2) Student class participation and enthusiasm in improving
3) Family support to continue school

We work with school teachers, directors and our volunteer psychologist that conducts interviews to select the proper scholars.

With this scholarship, we show our scholars that they deserve the scholarship and it does not come for free with no effort (like the government help does). Scholars have to work to maintain their scholarship by getting good grades, participating in class, participating in our extra curricular activities, etc.
